Another trip back to my roots… I was born in Stockton-on-Tees and I’m playing there June 6 (it’s going to be an emotional few weeks) TICKET INFO
I believe the guys from this great, radio show, Lemon Circus, are coming. They’ve been playing a song a week from DECEMBER… so they will finish with my Christmas song next week (don’t ask) I’m They play ‘The Night’ 29 minutes in…listen to their suggestions after my song for what I should wear for my Stockton gig… what d’ya reckon?

Since last writing I’ve had some wonderful gigs and met some lovely people including at the Unicorn Theatre in Abingdon which is hard to top in terms of hospitality (New York cheese cake, a bottle of Chianti and chocolate coated marzipan in my dressing room) and quality atmosphere and audience to match. It was magic, thank you Geoff Smith. And had my own personal Beatles tour of Liverpool with the supremely patient Chris Hockenhull who waited while I had my haircut at the barber;s shop in Penny Lane (£7.95) parked hazardously outside Strawberry Fields leaned on Johnny’s gate, scoured the graveyard for Eleanor Rigby’s grave and topped the whole magical tour with an excellent gig with the lovely folk of The Hungry Horse Folk Club in The Wirral. Thanks John Owen and everyone who came out. Toppermost of the poppermost day!
