New Vintage 1990 Bruce Springsteen Live Album
Features Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt
Live performances – past and present – continue to be made available via The Boss’s website.
The most recent addition is the 1990 solo acoustic performances in support of The Christic Institute at The Shrine Los Angeles which, according to the website ‘are among the most emotional and revealing of Bruce’s career’. The two-night stand featured premieres of six new songs, rearrangements of classics and guest appearances by Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne covering Bob Dylan in the encore.
The first night of the Shrine concerts, November 16, featured the live debuts of Human Touch‘s “Real World” and “57 Channels (and Nothin’ On)” plus “Red Headed Woman” and “When the Lights Go Out,” while the November 17 gig featured the premiere of “Soul Driver” and Human Touch‘s “The Wish.”
Both shows are available to download together as one release ranging from MP3 to 24 Bit HD and Audiophile DSD versions onlive.brucespringsteen.net. The three- CD set of both concerts is available now.
