Thanks to Julie Gold, Christine Lavin, Roy Zimmerman and David & Sophie Buskin for sending me new files and allowing me to share these brand new songs that were fitting for today’s show. With the Republican and Democratic Conventions behind us, I felt the need to share topical songs and these artists delivered some very timely pieces. I’m not sure if today’s show did ANYTHING to bring people together, but there were a number of relevant topics and opinions that needed to be shared. These outstanding artists keep us thinking.
