Mr Moon (and the Beautiful Dream) is a gypsy traveler musician, street entertainer and vagabond, he is home free and has always earned his crust ACROSS THE WORLD by means of his travellings and prodigious talent . The Moose is The Medicine Show Radio mobile home, come TV/radio studio, equipped to stream the music and crack live from the road.
Mr Moon plays Old Time mountain music, songs of the travelers and Mr Moon originals on his antique fiddle earned by soul, and latterly floated on a bed of worldy rhythmic guitar loop textures. He is as happy playing street corners as Festivals or House Concerts as Arts Centers.
Mr Moon is a legend among the street entertainers and itinerant musicians from Picton New Zealand to St Ives Cornwall, he traveled to India to learn the sitar and invented a guitar tuning so he could replicate the music on his guitar, he lived and soaked up the music and culture of Thailand, traveled to The Gambian and recorded with the Griots, all the time absorbing that music into his music.
Hes spent the summer once more in Cornwall, where he has become part of the fabric of the music scene over the years, with a new album guided by savant musician producer musician Jack Saddler capturing him in a particularly productive frame of mind. The album (proclaimed as his master piece by Ian Semple of Penwith Radio) is ready to take to the world, so I intend to help him do just that. The genius of Mr Moon deserves to be appreciated beyond those lucky enough to stumble across him on the street.
Mr Moon says ”One Word From You is inspired by what it suggests, how a word can change your day, a word good or bad can change the complete chemical anatomy of the receiver. It also portrays my own journey through times of betrayal, loneliness and lost hope, and how that one kind word changed not only my day but my life and my vision for the future”.
I say “Here’s to sharing the Beautiful Dream and some musical adventures with Mr Moon again this winter looking forward to seeing where it leads us”.

Mr Moon “I’d Climb A Mountain For You”
“You can’t buy too much for a fiver these days…5 items from the pound shop…..a pint of beer and a bit of change….a bag of meal worms from the pet shop and a few dog treats. If you want value for money and something that will last a long time then buy the new CD from Mr Moon and the Beautiful Dream,One Word From You. Produced by Jack Sadler from St Ives it is money well spent”. Ian Semple of Penwith Radio
